Say 'thanks' to a good crew leader
November 16, 2009
by Frame Building News staff Thanksgiving Day is only a week away.
The end of the year is coming quickly. Any day, any time of year, is the right time to recognize a crew foreman who does a good job for his or her employer, but now is a particularly great time to say "thank you." Frame Building News magazine, the official publication of the National Frame Building Association (NFBA) invites NFBA builder member companies to recognize a dependable crew leader who consistently goes out of his or her way to do a good job. The "Crew Leader of the Month" feature in Frame Building News awards $100 to an outstanding person nominated by his or her employer or supervisor. The prize is sponsored by American Building Components. Each monthly winner then is eligible to be chosen as "Crew Leader of the Year" and receives an additional $500, also sponsored by ABC, at the annual Frame Building Expo.po. To nominate someone, send a letter outlining the person's qualifications and achievements. Tell how his or her work impacts co-workers and customers, or relate a brief anecdote about a particular "job well done." Send the letter to National Frame Building Association, attention Joe Agnew, 4700 W. Lake Ave., Glenview IL 60025, or e-mail the nomination to him at nfba@nfba.org |
