There’s pride in every job

Charles “Chuck” Jochimsen, who works for Custom Structures, Inc. – Wick Buildings in Fall Creek, Wis., is the April Crew Foreman of the Month.

Nominated by Tammy Somerville of Custom Structures, Inc., Jochimsen has 10 years experience with post-frame.

Jochimsen came to work for Tammy and Jason Somerville shortly after they started Custom Structures in 2004. He and Jason had worked together and became friends at another company.

Chuck is a great foreman, respected by his crew, customers and management, says Tammy Somerville. Customers  have only good things to say, from his rapport and attitude to workmanship.

“He is one of the nicest guys you could meet,” says Tammy.  “One customer called to say that he likes the fact that Chuck would stop whatever he was doing to answer questions. They felt very comfortable with him and thought his whole crew was just a great group of guys.”

“Jason and I don’t ever feel that we have to check up on him.  He does his job with pride and loyalty,” Tammy says.
Chuck does some “extras” that help the company a great deal.  He works at trade shows, meets with customers to tour sites, answers technical questions,  takes photos of the jobs, and many other duties.

“Chuck is more like a partner in the business, a great asset to our company,” says Tammy.  “Chuck should be noted for his dedication not only to us, but to the customer,  and for representing post-frame construction foremen in ways that would make anyone proud!”
