How’d you like to hand your crew leader a check for $500? Or even $100?
All you have to do is nominate him or her to the Crew Foreman of the Month award program sponsored by American Building Components. The program is offered by NFBA and Frame Building News magazine.
Each issue of Frame Building News features a short article about the Crew Foreman of the Month. This person is nominated through a short, easy process that involves listing the company name, address and the usual contact information (address, phone, fax, e-mail); the name of the person making the nomination; and of course, the name of the person to be recognized.
The monthly honoree gets a check for $100 from American Building Components. At the end of the year, all monthly winners are again judged and one is selected at Crew Foreman of the Year. That person is honored at the awards luncheon at Frame Building Expo in February and receives a $500 check from American Building Components.
Here’s how you nominate someone:
Give a brief write-up on why this person deserves recognition. Tell how long he or she has been with the company, what makes him or her stand out above the crowd, how his or her performance has increased the company’s bottom line, and what customers think about having this crew leader working on their projects. Add other interesting details, if you wish.
Then, send the nomination letter along with a photo of the person to National Frame Building Association, 4840 Bob Billings Parkway, Suite 1000, Lawrence KS 66049. Or, phone 785 843-2444 if you need more information.
If you wish, e-mail the nomination, along with a hi-res photo (300 dpi) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
