Esh Quality Structures, Richmond, Kan., has a new owner.
In a letter to vendors Sept. 1 announcing the change the company said owner Reuben Esh had entered into an agreement to sell the assets and operations of Esh Quality Structures Inc. to Rob Pearce. Pearce “has been a strong part of the leadership team in the Esh operations for several years,” the company letter notes. Pearce had most recently served as general manager of the company.
Esh Quality Structures is a building contractor serving all of Kansas and western Missouri. It was started in 2003 and quickly expanded to three locations and 30 employees.
In commenting on the transaction Esh said, “Selling a business that has had my involvement from its beginning 7 years ago was not an easy decision. From the business start until now I have seen outstanding success and I have developed a high regard for our customers, employees and for the vendors and suppliers who helped us become who we are today.
“As a pastor of a local church and overseer of churches in the States as well as being involved in numerous Missions overseas, I have made a decision to sell Esh Quality Structures’s operations to Mr. Rob Pearce to allow me time to pursue additional ministerial opportunities. Rob was chosen as the buyer because as my general manager, he has demonstrated a high level of integrity, moral and ethical values consistent with my own and strong leadership abilities.
“I personally want to thank all of our vendors and suppliers for your services in the past and wish Mr. Pearce the best of success as he takes the enterprise into the future.”
Pearce commented: “I have had the privilege of working with Reuben and Esh Quality Structures for the past 3½ years. With over 20 years of construction and post frame construction experience, and many years of customer service management experience, I am excited about the opportunity to lead Quality Structures, Inc., dba Esh Quality Structures.
“As General Manager of Esh operations for the last two years, I have had the opportunity to work with most if not all of our vendors and suppliers. My intent is to continue operating with the same focus on customer service, attention to quality, and continued emphasis on doing what we do best; selling, delivering and erecting outstanding quality built post frame structures. I want to take this opportunity to personally thank Reuben for all of the blessings he has bestowed upon me and the employee family at Esh Quality Structures. I know this was a difficult decision for Reuben. One of his primary objectives was to insure perpetuation of what he began 7 years ago. I am confident this transition will be smooth and I am excited to have the opportunity to lead this business into the future.”
The company has four crews in Richmond, Kan., location, two crews at Hutchison, Kan., and one crew in Butler, Mo.
