How low is low?
Weather Guard Products

Weather Guard introduces a new, all-steel, low-profile saddle box. Secure and durable, it’s designed to maximize visibility and enhance safety. The all-steel box fits just above a truck’s bed rail which keeps rear sightlines intact, its maker says. This provides the contractor with more visibility through the rear window, especially on trucks with higher bed rails.

The all-steel box comes in two sizes to fit both full-sized and compact pick-ups. The heavy-duty steel construction is topped off with a powdercoat finish and comes in black or white. Another important feature is that installation is quick and easy with crimp-free/drill-free mounting brackets.

Reversible ventilating fan
Tjernlund Products, Inc
.
XChanger is an energy-saving fan that simultaneously rids basements or other areas of stale, musty or smelly air and draws in fresh outside air. Installed in an outside wall, it features two reversible 90 CFM fans that can be set to move air in either direction. The user has three options: (1) exhaust air from the interior, (2) draw outside air into the space or (3) reverse one fan for balanced air exchange with no bypass from either airstream.

Tjernlund says the XChanger cost is comparable to a dehumidifier, but the dual fans use 35 watts of electricity compared to over 1000 watts for a typical portable dehumidifier.

XChanger also can supply makeup air for stoves and fireplaces, ventilate storage areas and garages and maintain fresh air in cabins during long vacancies.
