The National Frame Building Association is always adding benefits for its members, through technical or legal support, networking at its trade show (Frame Building Expo) and offers through its website.
Below are a few more benefits of NFBA membership.
According to the 2012 NFBA Membership Survey, 78 percent of member respondents indicated NFBA membership has led to new business opportunities. It is therefore not at all surprising that one of NFBA’s most popular benefits is its lead-generation program.
Through this program, members receive project leads via the “Find a Builder,” “Find a Supplier” and “Find a Designer” search functions on the NFBA website (www.nfba.org).
Each year NFBA posts member listings in the relevant online directory and generates hundreds of project leads for its members. Building owners and developers use these search tools to locate statewide or regional post-frame builders, suppliers and designers for current or future projects.
Lead generation through www.nfba.org
Builder, supplier and designer members are automatically enrolled in the lead-generation program upon the starting date of their membership so their company profile, website and contact information are available to people searching for these services.
On the NFBA website, building owners and developers may search by state to access a listing of builders, suppliers or designers in their region. Listings indicate the member company’s address, contact information, website and NFBA post-frame builder accreditation status. If the building owner or developer wishes to be contacted directly by the member, he or she fills out an online form and the lead is e-mailed to all members within that state.
Lead generation through www.postframeadvantage.com
Commercial builder members receive additional leads via the Post-Frame Advantage website’s “Find a Builder” search. The Post-Frame Advantage “Find a Builder” tool provides architects, engineers and building owners with contact information for members located within a 150-mile radius of the commercial project in question.
Bob Brisky of Fingerlakes Construc-tion, Clyde, N.Y., spoke highly of the program’s results for his company: “Fingerlakes Construction receives building leads generated through the NFBA and Post-Frame Advantage websites. We find many of these inquirers to be serious buyers. Some inquirers are looking for more information about post-frame buildings for future bids. We have increased our building sales from the leads generated by NFBA’s lead program.”
