Fabral Announces 2015 Project of the Year Winners

Norcross, GAFabral proudly announces the 2015 winners of its annual Project of the Year contest: Astro Buildings, Cleary Building Corp, McCarty Roofing Inc., Morris-Ginsburg, and Cedar Preservations.

The Project of the Year contest, now in its 11th year, allows Fabral to recognize its customers’ commitment to architectural creativity and excellence. Participants were invited to submit entries in five different categories: Light Commercial, Agricultural, Residential, Architectural and “Coppertunity”, a new category which showcases projects featuring Fabral CopperCraft products.

The categories and winners for the Project of the Year include:

Light Commercial – Astro Buildings in Omaha, NE. This vibrant barn, known as Sanctuary, features Fabral’s Grandrib 3 in colors Charcoal Gray and Brite Red.

Agricultural – Cleary Building Corp in Verona, WI. This innovative pole barn features Grandrib 3 Plus. This thick, weather durable metal panel was installed in Energy-Star approved colors Dark Brown and Cardinal.

Residential – McCarty Roofing, Inc., VA. A custom home and live-in garage utilizing 13,000 square feet of 26 gauge 1” double locked standing seam panels in Energy-Star Custom Color Hemlock Green.

Architectural – Morris-Ginsburg in Arlington, VA. The Beacon Clarendon Apartments, a luxury apartment complex features 7/8” Corrugated Metal Panels in versatile wall and roof applications. These products use Energy-Star approved colors Copper Penny, Medium Bronze, and Custom Color Brewster Gray.

Coppertunity – Cedar Preservations in Commerce Township, MI. This upscale, European Chateau-inspired residence displays copper panels and flashing and decorative dormers from Fabral CopperCraft in colors Copper and Patina Copper.

Each category winner received $500, which was given to a college or high school of the winner’s choosing as a scholarship in their name. Fabral thanks all participants in the 2015 Project of the Year contest and is happy to support the winners in giving back to their communities.
