Founded in 1963, McElroy Metal has always practiced the same ethics and value principles that have contributed to the phenomenal growth of the company for the past 45 years. Today, McElroy Metal operates 11 manufacturing facilities and 19 service centers spread across the United States.
Starting in 1963 with a single roll-former and a corrugated profile, this Bossier City, La., manufacturer now offers a complete assembly of metal components, including 11 through-fastened panels, seven standing seam systems, two soffit panels and a complete array of sub-structural components.
McElroy Metal’s line of standing seam products includes both architectural and structural systems. The system of choice on a project depends on aesthetic and performance criteria.
McElroy also offers green roofing solutions featuring metal products with a high recycled content, cool roof colors and solar panels. McElroy standing seam products are equally well-suited for both crystalline and thin-film solar technologies.
To meet the increasing demands of the architectural community to add radius elements to projects, two of McElroy’s standing seam systems can be curved. Maxima-ADV and Medallion I are curved onsite to achieve the desired architectural effect and a perfect fit. By broadening the selection of components, curved McElroy panels extend another design frontier.
McElroy also markets its own retrofit system. The McElroy systems encompass a variety of applications for functional low-slope, architectural steep-slope, and special construction or geometrical issues. With multiple framing system methods, design professionals, contractors and building owners are given a wide variety of economical solutions, while maintaining the product integrity expected from the manufacturer.
Locations of manufacturing facilities and Service Centers were determined by an aggressive approach to customer service, enabling McElroy to provide quicker response to customer and industry needs. McElroy Metal Service Centers inventory a wide selection of metal components and have trim brakes on-site to accommodate contractor needs and schedules. Through innovative R&D, McElroy Metal will continue to improve existing lines and develop new profiles and systems. McElroy’s emphasis on providing unsurpassed customer service, which has been a cornerstone for more than four decades, will continue to be a top priority. After all, that is what made McElroy Metal a Metal of Honor recipient.
