As part of a strategic plan to expand their retrofit system product offer, McElroy Metal, Inc. has signed a licensing agreement to distribute Roof Hugger retrofit sub-purlin systems throughout the United States.
Ken Gieseke, vice president marketing for McElroy stated: Since 1963, McElroy Metal has served the construction industry with quality products and excellent customer service. “Today, McElroy has 10 manufacturing facilities and 20 service centers nationwide. In addition, McElroy’s Architectural Division markets fully-engineered retrofit systems including light-gauge framing and metal roof systems for both metal-over-flat and metal-over-sloped applications. Our sales team is now very excited to add Roof Hugger’s metal-over-metal retrofit solution to their product offering.
Dale Nelson, president of Roof Hugger, Inc., said “McElroy Metal and Roof Hugger have been working together for many years. It is exciting for us to formalize our long standing working relationship. This agreement presents a great opportunity for Roof Hugger to have access to McElroy’s top notch sales team and to more fully educate them in the metal over metal retrofit market while at the same time allowing McElroy to take advantage of the strong brand recognition and expertise that Roof Hugger, Inc. holds in the metal re-roofing market. We will each benefit from one another’s strengths.”
