PPG Industries reached an agreement with BASF Corp. to acquire that company’s North American coil and extrusion coatings business. The agreement does not include the COEX businesses of BASF SE in Europe, South America and Asia.

Englert adds field service vans for onsite maintenance

Met-Tile publishes new ‘cool roof’ rural flyer
Met-Tile, Inc., an Energy Star partner, published a new flyer describing rural applications for its metal tile panel cool roofing, which combines the popular look of tile with energy savings and all-weather performance.

The two-sided flyer showcases Met-Tile rural projects including barns, equestrian buildings, storage facilities, residences and more. Weighing just 125 pounds per square, Met-Tile is a fraction the weight of clay and concrete tiles, yet it provides a surprisingly authentic look. It allows owners of existing projects to upgrade to the look of tile without costly truss reinforcement. On new projects, it can allow substantial savings on substructure costs.
