Triangle Fastener distributes Roof Hugger

Triangle Fastener Corporation announced it has entered into an agreement to market and sell Roof Hugger retrofit framing systems says Jim Johnston, vice president of Triangle.

“We have known Red McConnohie, Dale Nelson and Mark James at Roof Hugger for many years and value their expertise in the retro-fit metal roofing industry," Johnston says. "As a major supplier to the roofing industry, TFC is excited to be able to distribute Roof Huggers as part of our Get Retro-Fit fastening systems program, and look forward to working with the Roof Hugger Team on this venture.”

Roof Hugger is a leader in the metal construction industry providing solutions to metal-over-metal re-roofing applications. The patent notched sub-purlin is a fully engineered and tested framing system designed to retrofit over existing metal roofs. These systems can satisfy new building code design loads for upgrading to current gravity and wind uplift requirements. As well, Roof Huggers are used to increase the energy efficiency in integrated metal roof systems and are incorporated into Solar Thermal applications to qualify for federal renewable energy tax incentives.

Mark James, Roof Hugger VP of sales & marketing says “The TFC distribution agreement is one of many new things at Roof Hugger nowadays. Working with TFC will not only expand our presence in the marketplace, but will help us have those one-on-one conversations with the metal contractors that use Roof Hugger. This new relationship will be in addition to the way we have served our customers for the more than 15 years since Roof Hugger introduced the notched sub-purlin to the metal marketplace."

TFC will provide contractors the guidelines needed in designing and installing Roof Hugger retrofit systems using their trained sales team at their branches throughout the nation. For more information contact your local TFC sales team or Roof Hugger.  You can visit or as well.
