“It’s a formal program that offers many of the benefits that we have been providing our customers over the years with additional attributes of exposure to our customers that set the benchmark for Elite performance in coating application,” says Tim Tritch, sales director, extrusion coatings. “This program is also directed to enhance our customer’s business by providing specialized timelines, safety programs, quality audits, and access to resources. Unlike other industry programs that require membership dues, this program focuses entirely upon the quality and service an applicator can provide and their commitment to continual education.”
Valspar offers its applicators access to various resources that enable them to provide solutions to the building products industry. These resources include:
— Valspar Mix and Match technology and systems that allow applicators to follow an electronic paint recipe to quickly create a product at their facility that is color consistent with other samples and production of the same recipe.
— Paint School Education programs that train applicators in coatings technology, best practices and color accuracy.
— Access to our ISO certified test lab as well as routine QC training.
“The Elite Applicator Program is another example of Valspar’s continued commitment to quality, safety and service,” says Mary Ann Johnson, marketing manager, coil and extrusion coatings. “We have seen timelines shrink and service expectations grow due to the increasing demands put on the building community. This program addresses the service and quality requirements needs of today’s market.”
