A new post-hole digger designed specifically for post-frame builders made its debut recently. AJ Manufacturing in Bloomer, Wis., brought out its straight-blade digger that burrows into the earth to create uniform, eight-inch-wide holes with straight sides. It’s especially useful in confined spaces, says the maker.
Priced at $69.96 and aptly named "the hole deal," the gadget weighs just 14 pounds. The top half of the handle is insulated with glass fiber to reduce the risk of an electrical shock if it comes in contact with a buried wire.
