ATAS launches new website for InSpire sustainable product

Allentown, Pa.: – ATAS International, Inc. honored Earth Day, April 22, by launching a new website for its sustainable product, InSpire®, a solar air heating and drying system that minimizes heating costs and increases energy efficiency by heating fresh outside air.

The InSpire® wall panel is mounted a few inches from the building’s outer wall. The precision perforations in the wall panels allow outside air to travel through the face of the panel. Solar heated air at the surface of the panel is drawn through the perforations where it rises between the two walls and enters the building’s central ventilation system or supply fan. The InSpire® wall panel also helps to reduce the cooling load in the summer by preventing normal solar radiation from striking the building’s main wall. Hot air is thermally siphoned up the wall and vented through holes at the top of the system, leaving the main wall cooler. In the summer, by-pass louvers allow cool fresh air to be drawn into the building at night, maintaining indoor air quality. Preferred InSpire colors in KYNAR 500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF: Black, Classic Bronze, Redwood and Regal Blue (dark colors work best for heat absorption).

The user friendly website showcases the various uses for InSpire®, which include industrial/commercial, light commercial/residential, and modular units, with data on how these types of applications can earn savings for the consumer while allowing them to live or work in a cleaner and more sustainable environment. The site houses a photo gallery, portfolio, and technical data such as CAD drawings, Spec Data Sheets, Research and Testing, and Certifications. With InSpire® installed on ATAS’s Grant Way facility, the new website also tracks and displays real-time performance data of the system. Visit the new InSpire® website at and follow InSpire® on Linkedin and Facebook for product updates, new, and events.

In addition to InSpire®, ATAS offers many sustainable products, many being ENERGY STAR® qualified. Some of these products include solar ready roofs, ASV technology, cool roofing and cool pigmented paint coating systems.

ATAS is also a member of the Climate Registry, which focuses on measuring, reporting, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. ATAS has energy efficient lighting and motion detectors in the facility, cutting down energy consumption. The company also reuses cardboard boxes for shipments, donates extra product to worthy causes and finds alternative uses for their scrap metal. Everything from skids, fiber cores, and coil ID ring are reused and/or recycled. Scrap wood is placed outside the facility for those in the community who may need it.
