DBCI launches 3000 Series Door for moderate to high-wind loads

Douglasville, GA – Rollup door manufacturer DBCI announces the launch of the new 3000 Series door this April. The 3000 was developed for moderate to high wind loads and is immediately available throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The big advantage of the new 3000 series door will be it’s ease of installation. It features a more forgiving 80 degree wind lock profile that makes for faster installation into the guides. While testing to ASTME-350 and ANSI/DASMA 108, the 12’x7’ model met or surpassed design pressures of +28.0/-32.0, making it an ideal fit for most wind load requirements, including many coastal regions.

“The thing that makes me most proud of our new 3000 Series,” says DBCI President Larry Miller, “Is that it is the direct result of collaboration with our customers. We got many requests for this product, and I think everyone is going to be happy with the result. I am always grateful we can maintain partnerships like that.”

The 3000 Series will be unique to the DBCI product line as the only series manufactured exclusively as a Curl-Lok door. Bray Allen, DBCI’s research and development manager, likes how the 3000 Series fits into the current DBCI product line: “It is a natural progression. You can expect the same quality because we kept new component items to a minimum; we can manufacture it at all of our locations to distribute efficiently throughout North America.”

DBCI is a leading designer and manufacturer of self-storage roll-up doors and solutions. Headquartered in Douglasville, DBCI also operates production facilities in Houston, TX and Chandler, AZ.
