IAPMO ES Awards Certification to EcoFasten Solar

EcoFasten Solar, the Vermont based design and manufacturing company for solar panel roof mounting systems, enlisted the services of IAPMO ES for certification of the GreenFasten GF1-812 system.

“We are excited to receive certification for the first system in a series of solar panel mount assemblies. This designation acknowledges our commitment to stringent quality manufacturing processes,” says business owner Brian Stearns. EcoFasten Solar has been steadily gaining a strong foothold in the roof attachments sector of the renewable energies industry since 1996. “Having over two decades of experience with roof attachment product design and manufacturing through sister company Alpine SnowGuards paved the way for expanding in another growing industry. Several manufacturers make suitable rack systems for rooftop devices, the missing link has always been the mount that comes between the rack and the roof.”

EcoFasten Solar designs and custom manufactures solar panel roof attachment systems for many of the leading solar panel developers, brand-name racking system providers and commercial installation companies serving the solar industry today. The product line of GreenFasten, Eco-65, Eco-44, Quik Foot and Simple Seal offers a mounting solution for just about every roof type, from membrane to steep slope. They are made in the USA from recycled materials in accordance with ARRA. View Product Guides online.

EcoFasten Solar will be exhibiting at Intersolar North America July 12-14, 2011 in San Francisco, Calif., and Solar Power International 2011 October 18-20 in Dallas, Tex.
