Metl-Span has introduced CFR Insul-Solar, a comprehensive insulated solar standing seam roof system. The system utilizes a thin-film solar laminate fused to the surface of the roofing panel substrate. The panel/laminate bond has been proven to withstand winds of 160 mph.
The flexibility and durability of the Insul-Solar laminate make it ideal for metal roofs where expansion and contraction are considerations. Unlike polycrystalline photocells that are heavy and fragile, no roof penetration and no additional structural support are required.
The CFR Insul-Solar system includes integrated photovoltaics, all schematics and specifications for all electrical components, 20-year warranty and 10-year payback or less in some states.
The CFR Insul-Solar system is available in panel module widths of 36 and 42 inches, panel thicknesses ranging from 2-6 inches and panel lengths from 8 to 53 feet.
Metl-Span pioneered many of the developments of insulated metal panels and continues to make significant contributions to design innovations and technology that shape industry standards. For more information on the complete line of Metl-Span products, call 877-585-9969 or visit www.metlspan.com.
