Impact drill/driver
Bosch’s 3-mode 18V Impact Drill/Driver offers torque, versatility and runtime to speed through dozens of applications. With impact drivers in the fastest growing segment in the professional cordless power tool category, some users have been hesitant because they still needed a second tool for drilling. Bosch says it is removing that barrier with its 26618-01 18V Impact Drill/Driver by combining typical drilling and driving capabilities with the added power of impact fastening.
A two speed motor
(0-750 / 2,800 RPM) offers a choice between high speed for small diameter drilling and high torque/low speed for drilling with spade bits or precision driving applications. When it’s time to tackle large diameter driving and fastening applications, users switch to impact mode.

Compact lamp
Spectroline’s C-100PA high-intensity ultraviolet lamp has a lamp head measuring only 7 x 9.5 inches (18 x 24 cm) — roughly half the size of other 100-watt inspection lamps, making it easy to check for cracks, defects, contamination and surface flaws in confined places.  A 100-watt, mercury vapor spot bulb offers a nominal steady-state long-wave UV-A (365 nm) intensity of 6,000 µW/cm² at 15 in (38 cm). The lamp’s visible light emission is less than two foot-candles (0.2 lux), and it easily meets MIL and ASTM specs for FPI and MPI.  The bulb has an average rated life of 5,000 hours. The lamp has a lightweight, stay-cool pistol grip for fatigue-free use, and both 8-foot primary and 8-foot secondary cords.
Also available is the C-100PAR, which has an 8-foot primary cord and 30-foot secondary cord in a “flying reel,” as well as the C-100PAX, which has an 8-foot primary cord and a 20-foot secondary cord.  All models are available in 120V, 230V, 240V and 100V versions.
