High-speed screwdriver
TyRex —
TyRex, LLC introduces TY5100 auto-feed screwdriver with speeds of up to 5000 RPM for increased productivity in commercial construction applications.  TY5100 offers better balance and smooth operation which means less user fatigue than traditional attachment-type tools.  A patented Corner-Fit feed system allows for placement of screws in corners and around obstructions, while a patented clutch disengages when screw is sufficiently set – to eliminate stripped out heads and prolong bit life. It’s intended for commercial construction projects like installation of exterior gypsum sheathing, interior drywall, metal stud and truss framing, wood sheathing, cement board, underlayment, as well as crating, pallet manufacturing and more.

SlideSquare has the angles
C.H. Hanson —
C.H. Hanson’ took a traditional layout square, turned it on its side, and compressed it into a convenient multi-purpose tool that more closely resembles a ruler than a triangle. On top of that, they’ve added an easy-to-use anchor bolt locator, a built-in caliper — and it fits in the back pocket.  SlideSquare’s scale can easily identify angles from 0 to 90 degrees with its built-in positive stop at 90 degrees, and mark all common hip and valley measurements. It allows for ease and accuracy in marking anchor bolt locations on common 2×4 or 2×6 sill plates. The sliding caliper can quickly provide board measurements, or diameters, up to 4-3/4 inches

Flooring underlayment system
Schluter-Systems —
Schluter-DITRA-XL is a new uncoupling membrane specifically designed to provide solutions to common challenges faced by tile setters and flooring installers. DITRA-XL provides the same four essential functions as Schluter-DITRA, i.e. uncoupling, waterproofing, vapor management and support/load distribution, but is 5/16” (7 mm) thick, whereas DITRA is 1/8” (3 mm) thick. The increased thickness of DITRA-XL allows for even transitions between typical ceramic tile and 3/4” (19 mm) thick hardwood flooring and increases movement accommodation capabilities. As a result, it allows for ceramic tile installations over single layer wood floors with 24” (610 mm) o.c. joist spacing.

Bandsaw blades
M.K.Morse —
The M-Factor By Morse carbide tipped bandsaw blade product line has expanded to include the new M-Factor CH and M-Factor GP  blades.  The CH is engineered for optimal cutting performance on case hardened materials while the GP design tackles common cutting of carbon steels and stainless steels. These two new blades join the previously introduced M-Factor AF aluminum foundry blade which cuts tough abrasive applications such as aluminum castings, composite materials and non-ferrous metals.  With all the M-Factor By Morse carbide tipped blades, the cutting results are a dramatic increase in productivity and blade life while reducing change over and down time cost. The newest 1” (27mm), 1-1/4” (34mm), and 1-1/2” (41mm) M-Factor CH and GP carbide tipped bands accept higher speeds and heavier feed forces required in carbide tipped band applications.
