Trio added to Rural Builder Hall of Fame

  • Tom Koch, national sales manager with Maze Nails, a long-time authority in the nail industry, is the newest representative in the materials supplier division. He has been instrumental in developing special-application nails for post-frame buildings.
  • Daniel Hindman, Ph.D., assistant professor at Virginia Tech, is honored in the educator category. Hindman serves on the NFBA’s research and technical committee. His area of specialty is wood science and forest products.

The three new Hall of Famers join 92 previous inductees in a tradition that began in 1982 with the recognition of educators, builders and suppliers whose efforts have helped to grow, promote and sustain the post-frame industry.
