Metal Sales Manufacturing has announced the appointment of Pat Hennessey to the position of vice president, sales and marketing. Based at the home office in Sellersburg, Ind., Hennessey will oversee all sales and marketing functions for Metal Sales. Hennessey was previously director of sales for the CIA division of Metal Sales.

The Metal Construction Association announced that Scott Kriner returned to the MCA in December to work as a consultant leading the association’s technical agenda. One of Kriner’s priorities will be to determine how to effectively use available resources for expanded technical and code work. Kriner previously worked as MCA’s technical director from 2002-2004 before leaving for a marketing position at Akzo Nobel. He has been an integral part of the Cool Metal Roofing Coalition.

Drexel Metals has hired Patrick Miller, a 25-year veteran of the steel industry, as director of purchasing in the Ivyland office.

M.K. Morse has named Peter Heenan vice president of marketing. Heenan is charged with continuing the growth of Morse market share and positioning the Morse brand as a market leader in the cutting tool marketplace.

Kevin Cummings has been appointed vice president of sales for Mongoose Products. Cummings has held leadership positions with Abitibi-Price, ABTco, GAF, and most recently Spec-Trim.

Fastener manufacturer OMG has announced a number of staffing changes. Brian Wroblesky is Midwest regional manager for roofing product sales. Stephen Trites is Southeast regional manager. Sean Kelly is Northeast roofing products manager. Joe DiSanto is customer service manager for roofing products. Andy Cleveland will now work in product management. Brent Kreutzer is national accounts manager.Corey Rohland is Western regional manager.

Kenneth Kuehn has been named to the newly created position of vice president of sales for ITW Building Components Group.

Bob Nardelli has resigned as CEO of Home Depot, a one-time Gold Key of Excellence Award winner frequented by a large number of rural builders.

Metal-Era added Joel Brieske to its inside sales department.

Stonehenge has appointed Haley Jayne to be the operations manager at its new second location in Buford, Ga., to better serve East Coast customers.

Mark Bettis has been appointed to the position of Western regional sales manager for Open Energy Corp.

Building Products Development has added Melissa Styles to its staff to aid in sales and customer service. She brings 12 years of metal building industry experience.
