The Jackson, Tenn., facility has been shut down and is expected to be brought back online by mid-year. In the past, is has served customers primarily in the aluminum-fabricated markets, which are some of the same market served by Wismarq’s other facilities. All Wismarq facilities have the capacity to coat aluminum as well as steel substrates.
Wismarq is cooperating with the city of Jackson, Madison County and the state of Tennessee to build a strong workforce and provide growing employment in the area. Wismarq brings more than 25 years of experience in toll coating to this operation.
With the reach, Wismarq is expanding its reach geographically and will be able to provide wider coating capabilities.
