REX SynFelt synthetic roof underlayment is the first choice for price conscious builders and home-owners. It is constructed of a high strength woven fabric which eliminates the wicking action of the non-woven products stopping moisture build up between the deck and underlayment. REX SynFelt is coated on both sides with a specially formulated polymer making it one of the most slip resistant in the industry. It is UV resistant giving you 6 months of exposure time. It is 10 times lighter than 30 pound felt and 20 times stronger giving you that safe tear resistant covering every time. REX SynFelt is a 10 square roll, offering more coverage per roll and it comes preprinted with overlap lines and nailing positions. Because it is asphalt free, 100 percent polypropylene and lighter in weight it is the perfect green building product saving our natural resources and environment.

The Hi-Perf Ridge Vent provides for proper venting at the ridge, critical for any roof design utilizing ventilation. In addition to the slope-to-slope versions, the Hi-Perf Ridge Vent is now available for other unique applications, including sloped roof to high wall, sloped roof to vertical wall, sloped roof to flat roof and custom ridge vent details are also available. Unlike other ridge vents, Hi-Perf is designed to accommodate individual venting requirements. Therefore, regardless of the amount of airspace underneath the roof covering, Hi-Perf is manufactured proportionately to provide the correct amount of net free vent air. Hi-Perf’s unique, all metal construction withstands heavy snow loads and will not compress under stress. The ridge vents are both weather and bug proof. The Hi-Perf Ridge Vents can include a low profile cover available in .040-inch, .050-inch and .063-inch aluminum and 24-gauge steel. They are engineered to allow for maximum design flexibility with no exposed fasteners.

Iron Sentry
Iron Sentry is a metal roof leak repair system that provides a seamless barrier against roof leakage and rust by utilizing a polyurethane sealer applied to seams, holes and fasteners. The sealer is non-toxic and cannot be penetrated by oxygen or water, even as it expands and contracts with the weather. Iron Sentry is composed of a non-mercury elastomer that extends roof life and reduces building operating costs by as much as 30 percent. Building owners also minimize environmental impact because they are using less new materials that will eventually need to be disposed of in a landfill; and the product contains no mercury, a key necessity for many construction materials.

This 7/8-inch corrugated metal roofing and wall paneling was introduced at the 2009 International Roofing Expo. It’s been upgraded to the highest of material and environmental standards with a Kynar 500 paint system and Ultra-Cool premium reflective coatings. Stronger than 1/2-inch corrugated, this 7/8-inch corrugated panel allows longer spanning or greater allowable loads. Panels offer 37-1/3 inches coverage with a formed width of 39-3/4 inches. Available in 26- and 20-gauge Zincalume, .032-inch aluminum, 16- and 20-ounce copper, 22-gauge A606 weathering steel and cold-rolled steel.

Fastener technology

VRT Technology, a patent pending screw thread designed to significantly increase back-out torque and reduce the potential for failed joints. VRT (vibration resistant thread) has an innovative shape that keeps the fastener tighter in applications where expansion, contraction and vibration are a concern. Independent tests verify that VRT produces more than 3-1/2 times more back-out resistance than a standard thread due to a design that increases friction as the screw loosens. VRT is currently available on the Blazer Drill Screw line for light-gauge metal applications. Other sizes are being developed for many additional applications.

ReflectiClean is a single component, water borne, elastomeric coating. It can be applied directly to metal surfaces coated with Kynar or other flouropolymer-based paints. In the past, flouropolymer-based paints were exceptionally difficult to adhere to. ReflectiClean is based on Kynar and Teflon technologies. It is water based, has low VOC’s, exhibits tenacious adhesion, excellent dirt pick up resistance and superior weathering. In fact, ReflectiClean’s surface properties improve with age. ReflectiClean is available in a variety of colors.
