Wicker Hobby Shop
• Dick Conway of Morton Buildings, Inc., Monett, Mo.
Wicker Hobby Shop, built for Kent and Kathy Wicker, will be used as a personal hobby shop. According to the builder, the customer likes wood frame buildings and post-frame fit the bill. • Steve Eversole of Eversole Builders, Inc., Lancaster, Ohio Benson Barn, a gentleman farmer’s building, has a variety of uses, from hobbies to an extra guest room. It provides the customer a storage solution for his many interests. Again, economics won the job. Post-frame’s versatility was able to deliver the rustic look the owner desired and the durable materials needed for a long-lasting project. This is an upscale neighborhood that prides itself on attractive buildings. CLADDING: Hardie Plank; INSIDE: H & H Metal Products; ROOFING: H & H Metal Products; WINDOWS: Pella; DOORS: Amarr, Jeld-Wen; FASTENERS: H & H Metal Products; FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS: Perma Column brackets; UNIQUE ACCESSORIES: New Concept Louvers • William W. Moseley of Garages- N-More, Inc., Alburtis, Pa.Gallagher 3-story multi-purpose building was designed for Ryan Gallagher and the future needs of a growing family. It compliments and enhances the family’s small Pennsylvania farmhouse. Post-frame was chosen after several years of research because it is cost-effective and functional. Vertical cedar siding required horizontal nailers. That, coupled with structural requirements and SturdiWall bracket technology, were factors in choosing post-frame. The suspended concrete floor, designed with wood structural supports in lieu of steel supports and decking, made the project financially feasible. CLADDING: Fleetwood Lumber; ROOFING: Fabral; WINDOWS: Anderson: DOORS: Amaar; FASTENERS: Sealtite; FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS: Sturdiwall |
