ATAS International
ATA-Guard is a polyolefin based, 100 percent asphalt free, high strength reinforced roofing underlayment for use on steep slopes beneath metal roofing. It is used to prevent leaks caused by wind driven rain and primary roofing breach. ATA-Guard is approved as an alternative replacement for Type 15 or Type 30 asphalt roofing felt (ICC ES ER-6043). ATA-Shield is an 80 mil homogeneous rubberized asphalt waterproofing compound, glass fiber reinforced, designed specifically for use as an underlayment material for metal roofing.

Pro-Master RoofShield UDL and UDL Plus are advanced synthetic roofing underlayments that can be used under most primary roofing materials. Both are lighter and stronger than traditional felts and offered in 52-inch wide 10 square rolls. RoofShield UDL has an anti-slip coating and UDL Plus has our exclusive Traction Twist Fiber for increased strength and traction. Both are approved in coastal areas, have a 1-year exposure rating and have a 25-year limited warranty.

Water and Ice Protection 300HT is a self-adhering underlayment ideal for use under metal surfaces. CCW WIP 300HT is a 40-mil, high tensile strength, rubberized asphalt underlayment designed to withstand temperatures up to 240 degrees. Enkamat 7008/7010 is a three-dimensional nylon matrix structure made of fused, entangled filaments used as a spacer to provide sound attenuation, ventilation and drainage under any type of metal roof. Englert Metalman HT self-adhesive roof underlayment is a 40-mil waterproofing membrane composed of SBS modified bitumen and a tough UV resistant anti-slip polyethylene woven top facer. The membrane is designed for use in high-temperature environments where the in-service temperature can reach temperatures as high as 250 degrees. The self-sealing, high tensile strength underlayment is designed to provide waterproof protection before, during and after the installation of metal roofing.

The new HPR Aqua Shield self-adhering underlayment provides ice and water protection for a wide range of high- and low- slope roofing systems including metal, shingle, tile and slate roofs. It’s ideal for lining parapets, coping, caps, valleys, eaves, ridges, rakes and hips.

Grace Ice & Water Shield self-adhered roofing underlayment is easy to apply, seals around nails, provides dual barrier protection, has a slip-resistant surface and protects under all sloped roof coverings. Tri-Flex Xtreme is a synthetic roofing underlayment featuring Traction XT Skid Resistant Technology. The coating helps boots grip the surface when wet or dry. Patented Sharkskin underlayments have been engineered and tested to exceed industry standards for long-term moisture protection and durability for all steep-slope applications. Specifically manufactured for metal roofing, Sharkskin Ultra offers 12-month UV exposure and is rated for high temperatures common under metal roofing. Sharkskin Ultra requires no slip-sheet and installs with 3/8-inch standard roofing nails, so no plastic caps are required. Sharkskin Ultra also complies with AC188 for roof underlayments and AC48 for underlayments in severe climates. Nail sealability tested. Sharkskin Ultra SA is a patent-pending, peel & stick underlayment that offers 12-month UV exposure, high temperature rating and utilizes a high-strength ultra-bond, green, no VOC adhesive system engineered to eliminate the drawbacks of traditional peel & stick underlayment systems.

Met-Fab
MetShield Water and Ice Protection is a sheet membrane underlayment designed for high-temperature applications typically found under metal roofs. The product is a 40-mil rubberized asphalt material that will prevent water penetration from wind-driven rain and water backup caused by ice or debris. It will resist temperatures up to 240 degrees without degradation, seals around roofing nails, screws and clips, has a skid-resistant surface and bonds directly to the roof substrate.

MFM Building Products
MFM Wind & Water Seal and Premium Wind & Water Seal are engineered to be used under all roofing materials, but its tuff non-slip polymer surface and advanced rubberized asphalt adhesive are formulated to work in higher temperatures applications with metal roofing. These advanced underlayments, bond to the substrate, seal around nails, screws and other fasteners.

Perma “R” Products
PermaFeltGold and PermaFeltSilver are nail-down synthetic roofing felts that deliver exceptional weather barrier performance compared to traditional asphalt products and other synthetic underlayments. They are coated on both sides with a proprietary rubberized polyolefin slip resistant coating offering an unsurpassed level of slide resistance. The PermaFelt product line is available in both 10 square and 4 square roll sizes and can be custom printed with a customer logo.

Polyglass USA
The Polystick family consists of homogeneous rubberized asphalt waterproofing adhesive in conjunction with APP or SBS compound. These products are non-carrier based or reinforced with glass fiber mat. Polystick membranes are manufactured using patented ADESO self-adhesive technology, whereby a true polymer modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer. Top surfaces are either high strength anti-skid film laminate, high temperature resistant fabric or specially treated granules.

SDP Advanced Polymer Products
Palisade synthetic underlayment features category leading Stronghold wet surface skid resistant technology for superior applicator safety under wet/dusty installation conditions. Palisade utilizes advanced woven PP high-strength construction, and Kool Blue (eight times cooler than felt) non-glare surface technology and delivers six months UV/wind/rain exposure and 300 degrees temperature rated performance. Palisade-SA-HT is a high-temperature (250 degrees) self-adhered underlayment with Stronghold wet surface skid resistant Kool Blue surface technology and six-month UV exposure. Palisade underlayments combine to offer all-roofing type advanced system performance for both residential and metal roofing applications.

TAMKO Building Products
TW Metal and Tile Underlayment is designed to provide protection in extreme temperature conditions. The flexible, self-adhering rubberized asphalt membrane has a temperature tolerance of up to 260 degrees and can be left exposed for up to 90 days. Nail Fast underlayment is designed for installation over wood decks with slopes exceeding 3:12. The product, which can be used with metal roofs, provides protection when used as a valley underlayment because of its inherent strength and flexibility.

Tarco
LeakBarrier PS200HT is a premium, SBS modified, glass fiber reinforced, self-adhesive modified bituminous roofing underlayment for use under metal and tile. PS200HT is manufactured with a specially engineered hybrid polymer system formulation that allows the underlayment to withstand high temperatures, resistant up to 260 degrees. PS200HT is surfaced with a polyester fabric on the upper layer to provide a non-abrasive surface that also offers excellent walkability.

Underlayment Specialties Plus
RoofTopGuard II high-performance underlayment meets or exceeds most national building code requirements, including Miami Dade. RoofTopGuard is available in 10 square rolls, is a low-weight multi-layered premium performance underlayment with a slip resistant fiber-grip surface. DekGuard 260 is self-adhesive modified asphalt underlayment with a polyester surfacing for high-temperature applications under metal and tile roofing. DekGuard 260 comes with a salvage edge, split poly release liner and a smooth polyester surface eliminating the need for a slipsheet under metal roofing. DekGuard 260 is available in two-square rolls.
