If you’ve recently attended a Frame Building Expo, you know there are devoted fans of post-frame in Canada. You meet them at the Expo.

The Calgary Herald has published an article about two post-frame guys - Al Williams and Jerry Myer – who started their post-frame building company – Integrity Post Structures Ltd. – in Okotoks, Calgary, in 2008 and have done so well that last year they opened a builders’ superstore. In addition to other supplies, they are a Canadian distributor for the U.S. company, Perma Column.

According to the article by Herald staff writer Mario Toneguzzi, Integrity still has its own construction crews – 12-14 crews – that build post-frame buildings across western Calgary.

Williams and Myers opened the Integrity store in 2012 to serve the needs of builders in Calgary and southern Alberta.

The article also notes that there are about 20,000 post-frame buildings throughout Western Canada, about 4,000 of them built every year.
