Garden gazebo, as seen in the Rural Builder Source Book 2020. Courtesy of Beck
This is a perfect example of an eco-friendly garden gazebo: It’s made with 100% wood materials.
The Wentworth Institute of Technology hosts a summer camp for high school students that are looking towards a future in Design and Architecture. The prospective students were given a certain amount of 2 x 4’s and then were asked to design and construct an all-wood structure using only that set number of 2 x 4’s and other ecological solutions.
They chose to work with the LignoLoc® wooden collated fasteners and the F44 LignoLoc® pneumatic tool. This system uses lignin welding for an impenetrable bond between the wood and fasteners. BECK strives to provide new innovations and is proud to see this beautifully crafted and designed building and to have been a part of the creation.
It is great to see young minds at work!
