Englert gets latest on PV roofing installation, financial support

Englert general and architectural sales representatives and architectural support staff came to the company’s Perth Amboy, New Jersey headquarters from all over the country earlier this month for a two-day seminar on new developments in solar roofing technology.

The two-day classroom and hands-on workshop focused on developments in crystalline and laminate photovoltaic  systems, the latest  financial options for buying it and federal, state and local financial support for it. The reps also got a hands-on demonstration at Englert’s training facility from Metanna, a supplier of photovoltaic materials, on crystalline and laminate PV installation.

Metanna executives Robert Kiessling, Gary Manlove, Jason Watts and Vince Barletto were key presenters.  S-5! Founder Rob Haddock also demonstrated a step-by-step use of clamps in attaching crystalline panels to an Englert standing seam metal roof.
