The Metal Roofing Alliance has set a goal for metal roofing to garner 20 percent of the residential re-roofing market by the year 2020. The Metal Construction Association’s marketing program, The Metal Initiative, is taking aim at architects, specifiers and building owners to sell them on the idea of metal in institutional and commercial markets.
And it’s working. Some of the companies listed at the left are supporters of those marketing strategies. They are doing their part to hopefully make your job of selling metal roofing easier.
The metal roofing industry continues to grow. The winners of the annual Metal of Honor, as selected by the readers of Metal Roofing Magazine, have a lot to do with that growth and success.
A lot of hard work has gone into growing the market share and those of you selling and installing metal have been a huge part in that. The product is a part of the equation, an important part no doubt, but it doesn’t help you much if that product is not delivered and backed by high-quality control and service.
A metal roofer installs products the customer expects to provide a long service life. The metal roofer delivers that promise to customers by relying on the promises of suppliers. In order for the industry—and your business—to keep growing, that reliability is important.
You and your customers expect value for your dollar. A good start to being a reliable contractor is to work with reliable suppliers and manufacturers, like those who the readers of Metal Roofing Magazine have told us are their favorite suppliers and manufacturers … the winners of the 10th annual Metal of Honor Award.
The Metal of Honor program was created to allow metal roofing installers an opportunity to honor those that help them most by providing quality products and great service. Metal Roofing Magazine appealed to readers in the magazine and through our Roofers’ Express E-Newsletter. Many companies were nominated by voters and the top percent of voter recipients—39 companies in all—comprise the 10th class of Metal of Honor honorees.
