Dear readers and trade show attendees,
In many ways the position of Publisher/Show Coordinator/HR Specialist/Janitor can be challenging. Occasionally pieces of an idea just seem to fall into place. That is what is happening with the Garage, Carport & Shed Builder Show.
The show will happen February 4-5, 2021, at the Century Center in South Bend, Indiana.
One of the more exciting aspects regarding the Garage, Carport & Shed Builder Show is the extent we have been successful minimizing exhibitor and attendee expenses. We just finalized the major room block with the Hilton Doubletree. Rooms will be $99 per night. When was the last time you attended a trade show and your room was under $100. Not to mention at a Hilton.
One way we are striving to differentiate our shows is by providing value to you. We refuse to nickel and dime you for hotel rooms, badge scanners, etc. This is a learning process, but we have a direction.
The other way we are trying to be unique is by listening to our attendees and exhibitors. You are our greatest asset and resource. Thank you.
There are two areas we would appreciate input.
We are working on the educational programming. If you have any suggestions for topics or would like to be considered as a presenter, please contact me directly.
We are putting together the marketing plan for the show. Exhibitors know who your customers are and attendees know what you read, listen to, or watch. What is the best way for us to reach the people who should attend this show?
We have an outline for the educational programming and marketing. But you know better than we do. Help us make this the show you want.
We plan to release the final show information in about two weeks.
