The 2020 Construction Rollforming Show, originally scheduled for this December in Cincinnati has been moved to a new date. According to Gary Reichert, Publisher for the show’s owner, Shield Wall Media, the move was made due to restrictions on venue capacity issued by the State of Ohio.
The following message was issued by Reichert regarding the decision:
“Regulations issued by the State of Ohio force us to postpone the Construction Rollforming Show which was scheduled for Cincinnati in December. Several edicts were a challenge. The challenge we could not overcome was limiting total attendance of the exhibit floor to 300 “patrons”. The state decided that exhibitor booth personnel counted as “patrons”, and since attendees and exhibitors totaled between 900 and 1,000 last year, living by the new constraints would have been difficult for everyone involved.
“Rather than offer an unsatisfactory show, we rescheduled to June 3&4. It will still be held at the Duke Energy Center and the Hilton Netherland Plaza. Both venues have been extremely supportive and wonderful to work with.
“All hotel reservations are cancelled and refunded. We are in the process of issuing refunds to all registered show attendees, and should be finished before this issue mails.
“Personally, this is difficult for me because I tend to be stubborn and occasionally overly aggressive. My instincts are to push forward, but in this instance it would not be the right move for our exhibitors and attendees. Rather than cry in my beer, I take this as a challenge. We will make the June 2021 Construction Rollfoming Show bigger and better.”
Reichert went on to note that all the exhibitors who were scheduled to be at the December Construction Rollforming Show will be featured in a Virtual Trade Show format. This will include the next printed issue of Rollforming Magazine due out in late November, as well as a digital show. The digital show will be located under the Events tab on www.Constructionmagnet.com starting December 1.
Still scheduled for February 4,5 is the Garage, Shed and Carport Builder Show in South Bend, Indiana.
