Big Red IIISemmler Systems, Inc., has introduced the next generation of its popular Big Red laminated wood column fabricating equipment. The new Big Red III features a special design that contains 10,000 nails in one loading. That means approximately 150, 3-ply 16-foot columns can be fabricated without reloading.

The new model has several improvements such as:
· Replacing stick nail guns with Max coil nail guns which greatly reduces nail jams;

· Intermediate firing of the four nail guns in an alternating nailing sequence that greatly reduces sound;

· Fast automatic adjustment to position 3 to 4 ply and 2×6 to 2×8 column sizes;

· Individual ply down roller pressure enables positive pressure on each of the three and four ply members;

· Along with other design additions that improve reliability.
