The Valspar Corporation introduces Flurothane Coastal coating system, a Polyvinylidene Fluoride system developed for use in the most extreme coastal environments. This coating system is unique because of its innovative thick film primer application, which allows the coating system to be used in the harshest coastal environments.
“Valspar’s new Flurothane Coastal coating system is an ideal choice for projects requiring warranty coverage in coastal environments,” said Jeff Alexander, Valspar sales vice president, coil coatings. “Valspar chemists have done an outstanding job responding to the requests of the market in developing a system that meets customer requirements and the demands of coastal environments while providing protection against salt spray.”
The Flurothane Coastal coating system provides excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays and exceptional color retention. The system can be applied to Hot-Dip Galvanized, Galvalume and Aluminum substrates and is designed for metal roof and wall panel systems installed in homes and commercial buildings within 1,500 feet of the coastline.
