“Tom brings a tremendous depth of industry experience and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams,” said Steve Heaton, vice president of sales and marketing for Atlas Roofing. “As a thought leader with global experience, he brings the strategic direction and implementation expertise to build upon the Atlas brand and reputation.”

Robertson’s mandate will focus on leading and growing the wall insulation business segment. Working with his team, Tom will lead the development of target markets, strategy, specification and field sales capability to further the Atlas Wall CI brand penetration into the wall insulation and sheathing category. He will drive product development and innovative advancements that support Atlas’ mission in building design with a focus on Continuous Insulation (CI); an energy code requirement for many residential and commercial buildings. CI is the most cost-effective way of keeping a building structure heated and cooled.

Tom has a history of designing successful campaigns targeting strategic vertical markets and customer segments. This experience will be beneficial as he assumes a senior leadership role within Atlas. Tom received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
