We are inviting all contractors, builders, manufacturers, & suppliers to submit construction projects for the 2021 Source Book—a special issue of Rural Builder (submission form here, and at end of post).
Our annual Source Book recognizes 25 low-rise, light commercial, agricultural, and residential building projects. Each project is presented with as much detail as possible, explaining the different looks, materials, and components that made it possible. Along with each project, we include information on the equipment and components that were used (such as panels, doors, insulation, ventilation, and fasteners).
The 2021 Source Book will be available to our subscribers in mid-September—use it for project inspiration and let your business inspire others.
PROJECT DEADLINE: June 25, 2021
Requirements of All Submissions:
- Photos of the completed building (at least 3-4 high-resolution photographs)
- Building details:
- Building type/use (home, school, etc.)
- Building size
- Building location (approximate/general)
- Architect
- Contractor(s) – including contact information if available
- Installer(s) – including contact information if available
- Products used:
- Building system manufacturer (if applicable)
- Roof panels
- Wall/cladding panels
- Insulation
- Ventilation
- Underlayment
- Fascia
- Soffit
- Fasteners
- Sealant
- Snow guards
- Doors
- Cupolas, weather vanes, or other decorative elements
- Other
- General description of the project (What did the customer want? What special elements set it apart? What were the challenges faced during insulation? Etc.)
