One year ago the National Frame Building Association introduced a new benefit of membership — a member newsletter. This initiative was inspired by feedback from a group of members. They requested more frequent communication, and in particular, they desired to have more frequent updates on the association and the industry as a whole.
A recent survey of the newsletter’s readers revealed that the majority found the articles on the association itself, the building industry and current economic trends to be most valuable.
“The National Frame Building Association does an excellent job of updating its members on current economic and business news. Its newsletter digests data from McGraw-Hill, Wells Fargo Financial and other sources such as national newspapers and websites,” writes columnist Oliver Witte in his article in the December 2011 issue of Rural Builder, “Who Says Times Are Tough? What the Statistics Tell Us.”
