SFS intec Inc., a manufacturer of fastening systems for the construction industry, introduced two new products for attachment to metal panel roof systems.

For standing-seam roof systems, the AceClamp provides a method for anchoring solar installations and other products that will be mounted to the roof. The one top-mounted tightening fastener with a locking feature is designed to provide a fast and easy installation and ensures that it will not loosen due to thermal movement or vibration, SFS intec says. The AceClamp does not pierce the panels and is constructed of aluminum with stainless hardware, eliminating any corrosion concerns.

The SOL-R fastening system is designed specifically for attachment of photovoltaic systems to exposed fastener metal panel roofs. The product provides a watertight, flexible and fast attachment, the company says. Made of a high-strength, corrosion-proof composite material, it is height-adjustable and able to accommodate most PV rack profiles and system designs. The single central attachment of the SOL-R to the structure provides installation without pre-drilling.
